Architecture

The Olympia Tower, which was built for the Olympic Games in 1972, is impressive as a free-standing stand-alone building. Because of its elevated location, even the lower floors offer a broad panoramic view of the city. Thanks to the spaciously dimensioned windows the 320 studio apartments are flooded with light - in line with Günter Behnisch's motto "Freedom in airy glass shapes".

After all, the most important representative of modern architecture in Germany has made a decisive contribution to the timeless architecture of the building. The entire Olympic site was developed under Behnisch.s leadership.
